Paris

The last few days of our trip were spent in the City of Light.
PAREE.

We were joined by Christina's sister, Julia, and the four of us shared a hotel room together, with four single beds in a row (like in Madeline).

Because our time in Paris was such a whirlwind, I'll just take you through the highlights (but only the ones I have pictures of).

Lunch at Notre Dame.

Shopping at St. Michel's fountain.

Showing up to watch the Bastille Day fireworks...and going home because it was too crowded.

The Louvre.

Shopping at Champs-Elysees.

Including a visit to the world's fanciest Abercrombie and Fitch.

(Yes, those are paintings of men all over the walls.)

A stop for macaroons.

And a peek in the Disney Store.

The Eiffel Tower.

And, finally, the world's most magical night bus tour, which took us past all the sites.

Paris was much more beautiful than any of us expected.

Christina and Julia continued on to more trips in Spain and Germany while Emma and I boarded another Aer Lingus flight. We were pleasantly surprised by the Dublin airport, which was relatively empty and let us go through US pre-clearance (which meant no customs in New York--YAY). We stayed another night together in New York, like we did on the way over, and then bid each other farewell.

Or, au revoir.
